A NETWORK OF VOLUNTEERS
The work of Jason's Friends Foundation is primarily carried out by a network of volunteers who assist in various capacities including family advocates, board members for the foundation and the Bowl for Jason's Friends annual fundraiser. Presently there are two dozen volunteers who lend a helping hand during various time frames throughout the year.
Family Advocates: Every Jason's Friends family is assigned a family advocate who contacts them regularly to support, encourage and assess their needs. The advocate helps to facilitate whatever assistance is needed, excluding monetary requests, which are handled through the office.
Annual Fundraiser Volunteers: Bowl for Jason's Friends is held annually in late February or early March. Bowl volunteers are very active from December through March planning, gathering sponsors, distributing posters, doing data entry and several other event duties.
Jason's Friends Foundation seeks volunteers to serve in a variety of capacities. If you have an interest in volunteering, please contact us through the link on the Contact Us page to learn more about volunteer opportunities at our foundation.
